I hold a holistic view to mind body wellness and use a collaborate approach in working with clients. I belief every individual is the expert of their life. My role is to provide a compassionate and non-judgmental environment. I use a strength’s based and person-centred approach that feels safe and empowering for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.
I have been working in the health care field for almost two decades in acute care, mental health, and most recently, in complex palliative care, as a nurse, prior to becoming a therapist. I believe everyone has their own wisdom and knows what is best for them. My role is to listen and support, and hold space for the exploration process to occur, at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I have extensive experience supporting clients through grief and loss, life transitions, burnout, depression, and anxiety. I have experience with neurodiversity, specifically autism and ADHD. My own lived experiences and challenges have provided me with deep empathy and compassion, and the understanding of how vital support can be when navigating difficult and transitional life experiences.
